From HBCU to the Villa! Tuskegee University alumna Olandria Carthen is making waves as part of the Love Island Season 7 cast.

A first-generation college graduate and lifelong football fan, she even shows off her touchdown dance in the trailer—talk about bringing HBCU pride to reality TV!

Orlandria  Carthen was one of the breakout stars of Season 7 on the Peacock dating series, finishing in second place alongside Nic Vansteenberghe. Carthen threw herself onto the villa in Day 1 before she and other Day 1 contestant Chelley Bissainthe made their presence known in the Island immediately.  First she got hitched with Oklahoma cowboy Taylor Williams, as she said, to get possession of her own cowboy. Recent episodes however have seen her venturing out into new relationships including a shocking recoupling in episode 13 with newcomer Jalen Brown after a fan vote overturn.

The 27-year-old Alabama native is also a first‑generation college graduate with a degree from Tuskegee.

The Love Island USA Season 7 cast will be reunited for a special streaming on Monday, August 25, hosted by Ariana Madix and Andy Cohen, where “Nicolandria” will share an update on their status following the villa.

Building on her success from Love Island USA Olandria Carthen signs with the UTA-owned management firm, Digital Brand Architects (Dba).  The former Islander made a name for herself on Love Island USA with her confidence, southern charm, and striking on-screen presence.

Dba will be overseeing Carthen’s career, with a 360 strategy in mind, ensuring thoughtful growth and expansion across the lifestyle and entertainment spaces. The management firm is focused on expanding Carthen’s business beyond her digital platform following her success on Love Island.
